Concerts at the Cresent 2013!
The annual FREE Concerts at the Crescent series is back for 2013! Starting on June 4, be sure to make it to this awesome concert series to enjoy fun, dancing, and some great talent!

In its 17th year, this series is presented by the Goldsmith Metropolitan District for the enjoyment of the surrounding community. The 2013 series will kick-off on June 4th with Tunisia and will conclude with Soul X on July 30th.
Concerts at the Crescent is a series of FREE concerts that take place on Tuesday evenings beginning June 4th and going through July 3oth. Concerts – starting at 7:00 p.m. and ending around 8:30 p.m. – will take place at the Crescent Amphitheater located at DTC Boulevard and Belleview Avenue (just east of Yia Yia’s Euro Café).
All concerts are open to the public and suitable for all ages. Free parking is available in surface lots of office buildings surrounding Crescent Amphitheater. Event staff will be directing patrons to concert parking.
Bring your friends, family and a picnic dinner and enjoy nine exciting nights of fun and entertainment. Please plan to leave your pets at home.

Franny Starkey left the White House as Senior Advisor & Director of Scheduling & Advance for First Lady Michelle Obama in 2011 to open Starkey Planning & Meetings and provide her vast knowledge, experience and connections for private clients across the country and abroad. Starkey Planning & Meetings specializes in large-scale events and strategic planning from convention & large meeting planning; scheduling & event consulting; tour & advance production; and creative event & message concepts.
In her capacity at the White House, Starkey designed and implemented trips by the First Lady to more than 20 states and a dozen countries overseeing everything from event design and execution; message look and delivery; transportation & security logistics; and political outreach. Starkey oversaw the launch of the First Lady’s three signature platforms – Let’s Move!; Joining Forces; and her international agenda focused on youth empowerment and community engagement abroad launched in Haiti and Mexico and later in her groundbreaking trip to Africa in June 2011. Additionally, during her tenure at the WH Starkey oversaw all of the First Lady’s international hosting obligations planning spousal programs in Pittsburgh for the 2009 G-20 and in New York City for the 2010 United Nations General Assembly.
Prior to her work at the White House, Franny designed and implemented various events and schedules for numerous political campaigns. Additionally, in 2008, she served as the Director of the Colorado Convention Center, headquarters for the 2008 Democratic National Convention in her hometown of Denver, Colorado, where she managed more than 50,000 square feet of meeting space, more than 100 events, and the overall logistics, security and transportation needs for the facility during the convention.
